1. Northside, Warner Robins 3-0 (Defeated Lakeside, Evans 38-7)
2. Ware County 3-0 (Defeated Coffee 24-21) I could be the only pollster with the nerve to move the Gators into #1; their region is tougher than the Eagles.
3. Creekside 3-1 (Defeated Druid Hills 41-0) Next week comes a matchup with the most athletic team they will face in the regular season, #5 Stephenson.
4. Kell 3-0 (Defeated Sequoyah 49-35) I like Kell, I really do; but as they, and everyone else gets into region play, their schedule does not stand up to others.
5. Stephenson 2-1 (Defeated Banneker 47-6) Next week is the Jaguars chance to truly show everyone if they are for real; a matchup with #3 Creekside.
6. Allatoona 4-0 (Defeated Lithia Springs 42-6) Even this early, if they beat S Paulding this week, they seize control of the region. Oh, and Bettistea is back.
7. Lanier 3-0 (Defeated Flowery Branch 27-12) Sleeper team for a couple of playoff wins; and with wins over C Central/F Branch, they have seized control of Region 8.
8. Carver, Columbus 2-1 (Idle)
9. Coffee 2-1 (Lost to Ware County 24-21) As good of a loss as you could have. Outgained Ware and gave away an interception return for TD.
10. Mays 2-1 (Idle)
