6A…Likely region standings/playoff scenario for each team is added.

  1. Colquitt County (9-0) The Pack plays Camden County this week for region championship.
  2. Grayson (10-0) The Rams are Region 8 champs.
  3. Roswell (9-0) If the Hornets defeat Etowah Friday, they win the region.
  4. Archer (8-1) The Tigers are locked into a #2 seed from Region 8.
  5. Mill Creek (9-0) A win this week versus Peachtree Ridge wins the region crown.
  6. Camden County (9-0) The Cats plays Camden County this week for region championship.
  7. McEachern (8-1) The Indians win the region if they beat Hillgrove; a game they lost last season.
  8. Walton (8-1) The Raiders need Etowah to beat Roswell and then win tie breakers to be region champ. Or they could finish third in that scenario. A Roswell win places them #2.
  9. Peachtree Ridge (7-2) The Lions face Mill Creek for the region crown. They are at least the #2 seed with a loss.
  10. Etowah (8-1) The Eagles face Roswell. Win, and force tie breaker scenarios. Lose, and they most likely are on the road first round.

When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
