  3. Greater Atlanta Christian 3-1 (Defeated Hapeville Charter 43-15) The Spartans are rolling out to 5-1; then comes Pace on October 9th.
  4. Pace Academy 5-0 (Defeated Holy Innocents 26-0) This is their second biggest week of the year as Pace and Wesleyan meet. …
  5. Wesleyan 4-0 (Defeated KIPP ATL 38-6)…The loser may be destined to the number three seed.
  6. Screven County 4-0 (Defeated Windsor Forest 32-0) Malik Prescott is among the state leaders in rushing yards.
  7. Dublin 4-0 (Defeated Bleckley Co 28-3) Hearts are calmed off I-16.
  8. Rabun County 4-1 (Defeated Riverside Military 42-0) Young QB Bailey Fisher has been a revelation.
  9. Darlington 4-0 (Defeated Bowdon 18-7) The Tigers have only given up 28-points all season.
  10. Union County 4-0 (Defeated Fannin County 37-31) Unfortunately, even if UC continues to win, their spot in the rankings may be tentative. There are talented teams, with tough schedules behind them.

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
