Just in from Stage 3 at the Republican Presidential Debates, The Mooneyham Poll has returned.

3A… The first, and last, MP every year provides us the Top 15 teams in each class…

  1. Calhoun…Kaelen Riley’s numbers will be through the roof this year.
  2. Blessed Trinity…The Titans are coming off of their greatest year in program history.
  3. Cedar Grove…State championship contenders.
  4. Washington County…Tries to replace one of the greatest two-way players in state history.
  5. Peach County… Coach Campbell’s brother, Lee, joins the staff as DC.
  6. Jefferson…Could be just shy of rebuilding after losing Sherriffs, Skelton, Williams, etc.
  7. Westminster…Make it a point to watch Zay Malcome.
  8. Central, Carrollton…The quietest 11-1 season in the state in 2014.
  9. Oconee County…Could start 6-0. Then, they play MoCo, Hart Co, Jefferson, and Elbert.
  10. Elbert County…Mecole Hardman. Go find a highlight tape online. Seriously.
  11. Hart County…Part of the most entertaining region in 3A.
  12. Westside, Macon…Ran through their opponents in 2014, and then lost two of last three.
  13. Cook…The Hornets from Adel have reached the playoffs every year this century.
  14. Callaway…An interesting watch in 2015 as they try to replace Terry Godwin
  15. Morgan County…Win total has dropped the last two years.

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
