Well, after a VERY busy last few months, things have finally settled down. That will give me the chance to link some of the great spring championship action from the state of Georgia here on the site.
First up is Georgia’s 6A baseball championship series, Parkview versus Walton. The Panthers, national championship contenders, swept the Raiders and clinched their sixth state title in program history (1996, 2001-02, 2011-12).
In Game 1, senior Ryan Inman collected his third complete game shutout in five post-season starts.

Game 2 was over early. The men from Raider Mountain committed three errors in the first inning, five in the contest total, and the Panthers other stud hurler, Will Etheridge fired a complete game of his own; only allowing one run on five hits.

The Panthers won their last 26 games in 2015.
