1. Benedictine 13-2 Brad Stewart and Stevie Powers. One of the best QB/WR combos…in state history.
2. GACS 14-1 Absolutely mystifying performance in the title game; and now this run of incredible talent leaves without a title.
3. Fitzgerald 12-2 Had GAC beaten in the semifinals.
4. Vidalia 12-1 The Indians lost to GAC in a game where most figured the winner would reach the title game; and we were right.
5. Brooks County 10-4 *Mooney pats himself on the back* I saw that playoff run coming.
6. Macon County 9-3 One of the best scoring defenses, leveled out in the back end of the season.
7. Lovett 9-4 Willie Candler is one of the best field generals in GHSA football.
8. Screven County 10-2 The boys from Sylvania set their town on fire with this memorable season. Watch out moving forward.
9. Lamar County 8-3-1 Coach Abrams keeps the program moving forward.
10. Bowdon 8-3 Same old, same old.
11. Darlington 9-2 The Catamounts finish with the taste of disappointment.
12. Model 9-3 The Romans were better than you know in 2014.
13. Rabun County 9-3 Charlie Woerner: the best two-way player of 2015.
14. Union County 9-2 Nine wins? For Union County? Awesome!
15. Heard County 7-6 The great career of Duranta Dunson also comes to a close.

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
