1. Ware County 10-0 (Defeated Brunswick 48-19)Ware, Allatoona and Coffee, my championship favorites.
2. Allatoona 10-0 (Defeated Chapel Hill 42-6)
3. Coffee 9-1 (Defeated Bradwell Institute 42-0)
4. Creekside 8-2 (Defeated Stephenson 34-27) Are they hitting their stride at the right time?
5. Northside, Warner Robins 9-1 (Defeated Houston Co 34-33) I was told last month: Somehow, they will find a way to win the region title.
6. Lanier 10-0 (Defeated Apalachee 55-17) A state title sleeper pick.
7. Kell 10-0 (Defeated Dalton 16-14) ANOTHER last second victory. Clutch or overrated?
8. Houston County 8-2 (Lost to Northside, WR 34-33) This loss showed me a lot and earned respect throughout the state.
9. Mays 8-2 (Defeated Miller Grove 29-6) What a rally to reach the playoffs. after a couple of losses that seemed to have knocked them from post-season, they win when they needed to most.
10. Stephenson 7-3 (Lost to Creekside 34-27) Twice they have played the defending champs tough.

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
