5. St Pius 7-2 (Defeated Stone Mtn 48-7) The Golden Lions led 48-0 at the half.
6. Sandy Creek 8-1 (Defeated Carrollton 16-0) All of the sudden, their offense is struggling.
7. Mary Persons 8-1 (Defeated Baldwin 55-21) MP wins its first region title since 1997; the days of Andre Zellner. I covered those guys; that was a really good team.
8. Woodward Academy 7-2 (Lost to Whitewater 31-28) No shame in this loss; I know Whitewater’s roster well and they are better than you think.
