1. Ware County 9-0 (Defeated South Effingham 44-6)
2. Allatoona 9-0 (Idle) The one team that could run the football consistently on Ware County.
3. Coffee 8-1 (Defeated Richmond Hill 34-0)
4. Northside, Warner Robins 8-1 (Defeated Cross Creek 51-0) Despite their close calls and the loss, they can win their 12th region title since 1998.
5. Creekside 7-2 (Idle) ***Rematch this week with Stephenson for the region title.
6. Lanier 9-0 (Defeated Winder Barrow 21-10)
7. Kell 9-0 (Defeated Sprayberry 14-10) My buddy Justin Hanover called their win over Sprayberry and said “they had no business winning this game.”
8. Stephenson 7-2 (Defeated SW DeKalb 25-7) ***Remember they outplayed Creekside the entire first half.
9. Houston County 8-1 (Defeated Evans 50-24) This week the Bears get their shot to shock the state and win the region title…if they can take down Northside, WR.
10. Harris County 7-2 (Defeated LaGrange 44-34)

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
