The Mooneyham Poll is VERY disappointed in the first college football playoff poll…GHSA football, 3A class…

3A…This top 10 has dominated it’s opponents more than any other classification…

1. Washington County 8-0 Defeated Josey 73-6) Amazing; this is the second time this season WaCo has broken the 70-point plateau.
2. Calhoun 8-0 (Defeated Murray Co 56-3) The Yellow Jackets are outscoring opponents this season 341-74, or 43-9 per game.
3. Jefferson 8-0 (Idle)
4. Peach County 9-0 (Defeated Jordan 31-7) Next is the game they’ve waited all season for: #6 Westside, Macon.
5. Blessed Trinity 8-0 (Defeated Washington 36-6) Such a good team. In two weeks, they meet Cedar Grove for the region title; a team that is superior athletically.
6. Westside, Macon 8-0 (Defeated Spencer 44-20) Their matchup with #4 Peach Co this week decides the region championship and is easily the biggest game in 3A this week.
7. Central, Carrollton 8-0 (Defeated Cedartown 42-14)
8. Hart County 8-0 (Defeated Oconee Co 49-21)
9. Westminster 7-1 (Defeated Douglass 42-8) One of the top five most surprising teams in 2014. They scored 28-points in the first quarter behind Zay Malcome’s three scores.
10. Cedar Grove 7-1 (Defeated N Clayton 42-0) The Saints have been forgotten. I’m could be alone in this, but I actually think they can beat Blessed Trinity in the region title game.

HM: Adairsville 7-1 (Defeated N Murray 56-17), Cook 7-2 (Defeated Dodge Co 13-10), Dodge Co 7-1 (Lost to Cook 13-10), Oconee Co 7-1 (Lost to Hart Co 49-21), West Hall 7-1 (Defeated Fannin Co 49-0)
