2. Dacula 8-0 (Defeated Grayson 27-17) One of the best stories across the state. Now, they are one win from a region title.
3. Grayson 8-1 (Lost to Dacula 27-17) The Rams had five turnovers in the second half.
4. North Gwinnett 6-2 (Defeated Duluth 71-24) For the second time this year, John Urzua goes for SEVEN touchdown passes.
5. McEachern 6-2 (Defeated Kenn Mtn 40-14) Sam Jackson at RB has been a revelation.
6. Milton 7-1 (Defeated Woodstock 30-13) Finally their defense is in high gear. The question is of course, can they score?
7. Valdosta 7-1 (Idle)
8. Tucker 6-2 (Defeated Alcovy 55-0) Since losing to BT Washington, the Tigers have scored 359 points in six games; that’s 59.8 PPG.
9. Peachtree Ridge 6-2 (Defeated Norcross 35-2) I had a contact at this contest. He tells me that PR completely dominated the game…PHYSICALLY.
10. Alpharetta 7-1 (Defeated South Forsyth 24-14) The Raiders are on pace, counting the playoffs, for their first double-digit win season in program history.

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
