2A…Over the last four weeks of the season we get five matchups between Top 10 teams.

1. Greater Atlanta Christian 7-0 (Defeated Pace Academy 37-7)
2. Vidalia 6-0 (Idle) Having given up just 23 points in 6 games, it’ll be interesting to see the Indians defense against #4 Benedictine’s top flight offense…*
3. Lovett 5-2 (Defeated Hapeville Charter 48-6)
4. Benedictine 5-1 (Defeated Jeff Davis 42-0)*…the Cadets have averaged 41 PPG.
5. Brooks County 5-2 (Defeated Seminole Co 42-13) The Trojans control their region destiny with Fitzgerald this week and Thomasville on Halloween.
6. Thomasville 4-3 (Defeated Pelham 29-18) The Bulldogs have played some close games; they’ve outscoring opponents 153-142 (22-20 per game).
7. Fitzgerald 5-1 (Idle) The Purple Hurricanes get #5 Brooks Co this Friday; a week after losing to #6 Thomasville. Whoever ends up 3rd from this region will be very dangerous.
8. Screven County 7-0 (Defeated E Laurens 28-21)
9. Lamar County 4-1-1 (Defeated Bleckley Co 21-19) The Trojans drop three spots after being outgained by two hundred total yards. They have been hanging on all year.
10. Darlington 6-1 (Defeated Dade Co 23-0)

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
