3A…Is this class WaCo, Calhoun, and everybody else??

1. Washington County 6-0 (Defeated Laney 56-20) Someone tell GA Tech HC Paul Johnson that AJ Gray deserves a shot to play QB in his offense. Vs Laney: 272 total yards and 4 TD’s.
2. Calhoun 6-0 (Defeated Adairsville 42-10) RB Olico Dennis has emerged as a go-to player.
3. Jefferson 6-0 (Defeated Elbert Co 52-6) Before the season, and Elbert’s injuries/struggles, this was supposed to be a really nice matchup.
4. Peach County 6-0 (Defeated Central, Macon 33-0) The rest of the state is still just a tad behind me on these guys.
5. Blessed Trinity 5-0 (Idle)
6. Central, Carrollton 5-0 (Idle)
7. Westside, Macon 6-0 (Defeated Jackson 31-14)
8. Hart County 5-0 (Idle)
9. Westminster 5-0 (Idle)
10. Dodge County 6-0 (Defeated Toombs Co 38-14) The Indians now have their most wins in a season since 2007.

Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
