3A…A little bit of shifting, but the teams in the rankings this week do not change.

1. Washington County 5-0 (Defeated Glenn Hills 71-0)
2. Calhoun 5-0 (Defeated Ringgold 27-13) **Last week I said, “They are creeping up on #’s 2 & 3.” They beat the better of the three opponents…
3. Jefferson 5-0 (Defeated Jackson Co 34-7)**…I had Calhoun, Jefferson, and Peach all even; this week’s play provided the separation…
4. Peach County 5-0 (Defeated Rutland 49-7)**…Although, all three teams could fluctuate the next few weeks.
5. Blessed Trinity 5-0 (Defeated Douglass 45-7) The Titans are 5-0 for the first time in program history.
6. Hart County 5-0 (Defeated Elbert Co 19-7) Their offensive balance keeps them ahead of Central.
7. Central, Carrollton 5-0 (Defeated Landmark Christian 21-7) A very nice win over a state title contender in 1A Private.
8. Westside, Macon 5-0 (Defeated Kendrick 42-0)
9. Westminster 5-0 (Defeated Therrell 41-7)
10. Adairsville 4-0 (Defeated Sonoraville 42-3) Their time in the rankings could be short lived; Calhoun is next.

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
