4A… Good luck figuring out #’s 7-10. They all lost or were idle.

1. Buford 3-0 (Idle)
2. Marist 3-0 (Defeated Arabia Mountain) I know what you’re thinking; but Marist has had a tougher schedule so far; that’s why they hopped both S Creek and Griffin.
3. Sandy Creek 4-0 (Defeated Newnan 31-14)
4. Griffin 3-0 (Defeated Eastside, Covington 53-7) The best WR trio in the state; yet the emergence of RB Malik Miller makes them championship caliber.
5. Cartersville 2-1 (Defeated N Paulding 26-7)
6. Whitewater 2-1 (Lost to East Coweta 17-14) No shame in this loss. E Coweta is a very solid playoff team in 6A.
7. Woodward Academy 2-1 (Lost to Lovett 21-20) Got another big game from Holyfield (again) but missed an extra point in the last half minute.
8. Thomas County Central 1-1 (Idle)
9. Burke Co 2-2 (Lost to N Augusta, SC 25-22) Something is off with the Bears this year.
10. Cairo 2-1 (Lost to West Florida, Pensacola 19-7)

HM: St Pius 1-2 (Beat Lithonia 38-7), Troup County 2-1 (Lost to Harris Co 28-21)

Chris Mooneyham is a twenty-year broadcast veteran employed or freelancing for multiple companies across America. Currently he is a co-host, play-by-play person and guest anchor for Atlanta’s sports leader, The Fan 680AM/ 93.7FM; and its sister stations on The Sports X. In the Fall, Chris serves as the Sideline Reporter for Kennesaw State University football. He also works as studio host, play-by-play announcer and content producer for The Fan’s coverage of Georgia High School football. Come the Wintertime, the focus shifts to the National Lacrosse League 2017 World Champions, the Georgia Swarm (play-by-play). When Spring rolls around, the Atlanta native delivers the play-by-play for the Emory University baseball team, a two-time national finalist. All throughout the year, Mooneyham is a lead play-by-play person for the NFHS Network’s high school sports coverage and over the last decade was honored to call state championships in nearly every sport. A Kennesaw State graduate, Chris holds a Communication degree in Media Studies and a Minor degree in Film Studies. He is also a two-time graduate of broadcasting school (Connecticut School of Broadcasting-1998/ Atlanta Broadcast Institute-2008).
